Duporth Beach

Duporth beach is a private, sand and pebble beach only accessible by the south west coast path, so can often be a quiet place to enjoy the feeling of sand between your toes.

If you venture down with young children, the long, narrow beach also offers up rock pools at low tide waiting to be explored.

Dogs on leads are allowed on the beach all year round, but there is no parking or facilities here. Make the most of a beautiful day in St Austell Bay and park either at Charlestown or Porthpean, where a short walk across the coastal path will lead you to this hidden beach.
