Farmers Market

Words by Nikki Hotchin

Going back to our roots, with a fresh produce & farmers market.

Friday was traditionally the market day, in the market house here in St Austell. The ground floor was home to many butchers, upstairs was a butter market which during the summer was covered with cabbage leaves to keep it cool! With a proven track record of successful arts & crafts fairs, and based on customer feedback, the farmers market will bring you locally sourced, specially selected fresh produce.

The market will be held on the last Friday of each month and to ensure everyone has an opportunity to shop with us, no matter how busy they are throughout the day, with opening times between; 1pm to 7pm, PLUS our trademark music & entertainment will accompany visitors whilst they shop in the afternoon taking you through to the early evening, with food and drink available to enjoy from the market house coffee shop. Please do come along to support us and our local producers.

Pitches Available! Traders will need PLI and provide a copy of their certificate. If you would like to join us, please email for full details. Book your pitch early, to secure a space. See you there!
