Clay in the Community

The Austell Project are delighted to be supporting Cornwall College with this brand new course: ‘Clay in the community’ starting in the autumn.

Whether you’re wanting to develop your practise after previous L3 study or from your own regular exploration at home, the Level 4 Diploma in Clay and The Community calls on the very foundation of St Austell town and it’s surrounding clay communities – White Gold!

Here’s what the college had to say. “Because St Austell is home to Clay you’ll get the chance to network with visiting artists engaging in The Austell Project, WhiteGold and Brickfield. You’ll act as assistants to artists and ceramicists delivering community workshops and you’ll be supported to develop your own workshop planning and delivery. You will be a vital part of the regeneration of the Town and surrounding areas, bringing culture to village communities”.
