Darren Hawkes, Green Curator

Darren Hawkes Landscapes is a design studio working on domestic gardens, public realm spaces and commercial landscapes throughout the UK. Dedicated to creating spaces that have sensitivity to their history, architecture and place, the studio has an agile approach to each project looking to discover the individual narrative attached to the brief, driving the team to recognise and create unique, inspiring spaces.

Darren has over 20 years experience working in the landscaping industry. He has won a number of gold medals at RHS Chelsea Flower Show and continues to be involved with the show as an RHS judge.

Darren is curator of the Green Programme for the Austell Project, working with the team to create the wildflower meadows, Garden Route and Town Greening programmes.
